Embers’, a collaborative exhibition by internationally recognised war artist Arabella Dorman and Sayle Gallery Artist Gary Bennett, opens to the public at the Sayle Gallery on the 6th of March.
Arabella’s paintings from the frontline in Afghanistan, and a series of prints and sculptures produced by Gary, both deal with the human side of conflict and memory of it.
On the 6th of March Arabella will host a public talk in the gallery, Brush on the Front Line. The talk will give the public the opportunity to hear Arabella discuss her experiences on the frontline in Afghanistan, and what it means to be a modern war artist. A Q&A session will follow.
Tickets are £8 (£5 for students / subscribers). Contact : 674557.
