It’s always exciting when fresh talent emerges – especially when it’s both beautiful and through-provoking. And that’s exactly what will be showcased at a new exhibition shortly to open at the Sayle Gallery. Photographers Ruth Gale, Julie Chambers and Claire Fox Schreuder will each be exhibiting some of their best works – three equally-talented artists, but each with their own unique perspective.
The show will run from Friday 2nd May until TT fortnight, and it’s a great opportunity to take in a range of photographic styles – from the seemingly surreal (but in fact natural) effect of light on oil on water, to the beauty of landscape. Prints will be available to buy, either framed or unframed, and it’s a tremendous sight seeing them juxtaposed one with the others.
The Sayle Gallery benefits from funding provided by the Isle of Man Arts Council, and aims to provide a showcase for the best in the Island’s visual arts – ensuring that a constantly-refreshed range of works are on view to members of the public, many of which are also available for sale. The Gallery is open Tuesday – Sunday and on bank holidays, and is located in the Villa Marina complex, next to Davisons ice cream parlour.
